I don't know if this has been answered, but I have to replace my rear differential on my 2000 Tundra SR5 4wd. I know that I have 3.909 ratios front and rear. How will it affect it if I replace my rear diff with a 3.916 Limited rear diff? Will the .007 ratio difference make that much differrence?

My understanding is that a ratio change that small would be fine, but I would wait for a more experienced person to chime in. Why can't you have the same ratio with the LSD?

    I would avoid it.

If you can't find a tundra 4x4 rear 3rd, get both front and rear from a seqouia instead. They're 4.10's

It's a non-issue, but now is a great time to swap in a pair of 4.10's if you have tires larger than stock.
