My last concert in San Francisco was at Winterland. Charlie Daniels. To give ya an idea of how long ago that was... Winterland was closed down in 78.

Anyone remember Carol Doda? The Perfect 36.

    Bish please. 76°F 95% humidity.
    Stop crying.
I took advantage of the nice summer weather and got in 8 miles tonight, instead of the typical 6.5

Where is that? Looks familiar. That’s at least in the same state as me, but could still be a long ways from me.

Cooks pass, near Bonners Ferry. Way north Idaho.

Wish I could spend more time down in your area. I've done standhope trail race twice so spent a few days in the mountains NE of Ketchum. Cool area!

Oh ya that is up there. I still have a lot of exploring to do up there. The standhope is great. Glad you've gotten to do that and check out the area some. You'll have to let me know if you come back this way.

We were stationed at Mountain Home, ID. I had to drive up and back to Moscow, ID twice in the span of about 3 days. Dropped off my daughter and then picked her back up for the State band competition up there. That was during the ice sculpture festival in McCall. That was so beautiful to see. I really miss Idaho. But the Air Force wanted to move us to NM again before we were financially ready for the wife to retire to stay there. We loved hanging out in Boise. Unfortunately, that was right before covid hit and all of the home prices in Boise had already been going up before that.

It was exploding while we were there. The predictions were population at 1 million by 2025 and 2 million by 2030 or something like that. I was taking some local classes at CWI in Nampa driving from Mountain Home. I was so glad that I had morning classes seeing all of the traffic driving towards Boise from Nampa and Meridian. It was crazy. I was usually on my way home around 1pm so missed any traffic.

Stepped out and saw the full moon tonight, thought Ide get a pic. Turned off the yard light and tried a few shots.
As the camera corrected the exposure on one while I was staring at it, I see I had 2 onlookers about 25-30yards away that I had no idea were there.

Nice! It's to cloudy to see the moon here, now. I hope it clears up later on in this shift.

Weird thing is they were just standing there, I mean they shouldn't be tame like city deer.
And there has been a LOT of guys getting out setting up their blinds and shooting lanes for deer season.
So It kind of weirded me out a little.
But at least if they were chill, the 400-500lb black bear a neighbor got on cam isn't anywhere close.
