Adding on here my experience - I did an ATF fluid service today. The guys who swapped my engine definitely took my Cat Cover off - well they stripped all the bolt heads on the cover putting it back on, so I had a nice chore before I could even start the tranny service. I am going to get new hardware. Part of me wants to complain but I am sure it would be a waste of time. Stapp Interstate Toyota Frederick CO.

Sorry to hear about that and am sure it wont be the last. I got lambasted about a seeping hose that they had put 2 worm drive clamps on, I gave the dealer a chance to fix it, turns out they didn't. So I bought a hose and new clamps, turns out the hose was salvaged from something else (cut on both ends to fit). New hose and good to go.

Thanks for that info, I was wondering. I'll pull my cat shield before mine goes in for the new engine.... If my turn ever comes up.

As I mentioned way back on page #1, this sounds like the typical crap I experienced from Stapp Interstate Toyota's service department. I had a decent buying experience there, but the service sucks.

Anyone in the SW Missouri area had the recall done in either Joplin, MO / Springfield, MO / Rogers, AR / Fayetteville, AR and can comment on their experience? I need to have it done at some point and looking for reviews. Currently no issues and only 12k on the odo. Wondering how long I can wait to get this done, or just bite the bullet and do it.
