    best thing is to post a picture.

    Cerakote is amazing for black plastic trim, its not very forgiving....so make sure its clean and dry....i mean DRY! No chance of a drop of water hitting the cerakote while its curing.

    Not sure about rubber.

    Cerakote will restore some but it’s more of a protectant. If your trim is really far gone I’d recommend Solution Finish. It’s a bit messy but it’ll make it look better than new.
