I searched and it doesn't seem like it's been covered much here, am I missing something? I contacted ecutek directly asking for Tundra support and they confirmed they already support it (see below).

Any reason why US-based truck owners aren't tuning with it much (from what I can see), and doesn't seem like any tuners are promoting it?

I see ecutek calls it "Gen 2" but the body style looks right and the parameters below include boost.

EcuTek launch Toyota V35A-FTS Gen 2 Engine Support
Land Crusier; Tundra; LX600 and GX550
      [IMG]
Following our very successful Yaris/Corolla Suite, we have expanded our Toyota offering further into Trucks, starting with the latest generation of Dynamic Force engines. This support covers the V6 V35A-FTS Gen 2 engine and consists of two packages rolled into one tuning suite release:

A full release of tuning support consisting of:
      • OBD Programming
      • RaceROM Datalogging
      • RaceROM Security
      • RaceROM Fast Flash
      • Bricked ECU Recovery
      • Sub-Dealer programming
      • Retail programming via ECU Connect + Deskey kits. PhoneFlashing will follow shortly
      • ECU Connect standard features such as logging, dashboards and read and clear DTCs
Due to our limited ability to test due to vehicle availability in the UK, a BETA release of the following RaceROM features:
      • RaceROM Map Switching
      • RaceROM Ignition Control
      • RaceROM Lambda Control
      • RaceROM Boost Limit
      • RaceROM Load Limit
      • RaceROM Torque Limit
      • RaceROM CAN Self-Adjusting Flex Fuel
      Vehicles supported
      • 2021–present Land Cruiser (VJA300)
      • 2021–present Tundra (VXKA70/71/72/75/76/77)
      • 2021–present Lexus LX 600 (VJA310)
      • 2023–present Lexus GX 550
Hybrid variants are, as yet, not supported.

      OBD Programming
We have ported our unique OBD programming feature from Yaris/Corolla to this suite to enable simple, quick programming without needing an additional cable connected in the engine bay.

Your customers can also be tuned remotely using the ECU Connect + Deskey kits.
      Custom RaceROM Logging Parameters
      [IMG]
We have created 50 Custom Logging Parameters within RaceROM to enable you to take full advantage of the suite's RaceROM BETA features.
      Fast Flash
The first full flash with RaceROM will take around 3 mins. Subsequent flashes with calibration changes will take around 90 seconds.
      ECU Recovery + ROM Dumps
If you end up with a part-programmed ECU, this is recoverable within the software. There is also a ROM dump function that allows you to submit ROMs for support. Obviously, at this point, we will be looking for as many ROM dumps as possible to expand our support.
      ECU Connect Support
      [IMG]
Standard features such as logging, dashboards, and read and clear DTCs are available in the release software.

Car Owner programming is also available via the ECU Connect + Deskey Kits.

PhoneFlash will be following up shortly.
      BETA RaceROM Features
      [IMG]
      Map Switching
      [IMG]
Four Map Switch Modes with the ability to adjust Lambda target, ignition timing (base and advance), fuel quantity, boost target limit, torque target limit, rev limit and load limit in each of the 4 modes. Switch between using the cruise control lever or the ECU Connect App.
      Self Adjusting FlexFuel
      [IMG]
Automatically adjust for fuel/ethanol content using a CAN-based ethanol sensor such as Zeitronix ECA-2 or MHD Fuel Analyzer.

I'd be highly cautious..... they don't bother to list it on their own website even.... bigger concern is they specialize in smaller European model cars...

Having built and run a few dozen tuned cars from VW's to Audi's to Merc there are a lot of nuances that local or regional support / specialization gain you....if this was someone like AWE, Banks or Eurocharged I'd more interested.... having access to a lot of various rigs with different setups allows them to work thru getting the parameters right.... and dial it in for things like larger tires, gears, etc....

Dyno-tuning can then be the most productive option going forward if the tuner is willing to.... Eurocharged was good enough to put a custom tune on my 200 build and tweak it a bit to allow for the headers and catback to be optimized along with setting up fueling/timing adjustments for the larger injectors and E40 ...

They are using VF Tuner hardware and software and rebranding it.

and not even trying to make it look different either. Even the same damn case it comes in lol.

However, the phone app IS new though since VF doesn’t have that option, at least that I know of. That would be extremely nice to have. And if true, the flashes are a huge difference in time compared to VF tuner, which can take 5-10 minutes, if not more

I wonder if one dongle will work with multiple vehicles. I've been looking at dropping my Cobb AP and going with the ECUTek for my other car and it would be sweet to have 1 for both

the "genius" setup I had for my Mercs did multiple tunes, on multiple cars/ trucks.... but they had to be loaded and defined specifically by the tuner for each ECU/ TCU etc. In my case by Eurocharged. but multiple tuners use it as a platform...

Far from it. They're probably the best tuner for the Tundra. Magnuson uses their software.

agreed on VF being solid - I think that's what Jerry at Eurocharged used as the medium for my E40 /catless tune... too long ago to be sure. But I know when I was looking at the Magnusson blower Vs. Harrop for the landcruiser that was well respected.... still wish I'd kept the 200 long enough to put that kit on..... but the lust for even more HP won.

I didn’t say that at all. I’m fairly happy with my VF tuner but it’s far from user friendly and there are a LOT of things that could make it better. Main one being an app that allows for quick adjustments or tuning maps that are adjustable on the fly like the JB4
