    Hey guys,

I’ve already put in the TRD grill, but I did not get the lights… looking for the best alternative options outside the OE. From my understanding, Toyota’s aren’t very bright, especially for the money that you spend. What do you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance for your assistance

The Toyota OEM are going to be the best you can get. Anything aftermarket is straight trash.

OEM is best by far, ive had both. You can installthem without pulling grille as well.

Go oem...the china garbage will either start flickering or the lenses will fade. I was one of the first to have the china markers and they all faded. Went oem once they were released to the public and theyre plenty bright. If theyre out of your budget, just save up for them.

    +1 for OEM

Wire it to the 4 pin hitch connector using a y splitter

As everyone said. Oem is the best quality. Plenty bright. They’re marker lights not driving lights.

Are you talking about the marker lights or the light bar?

Yikes, I didn't even consider that he could be talking lightbar - if that is the case then most of us use Diode Dynamics or Baja Designs for the primary light bar (in the center of the grille)

Agree with this. I like diode. I’d wait till their new bar though.

New light bar?? I've been reading murmurings about new fog lights too but haven't seen anything concrete - where is this info coming from? Would love to know a timeline on both.

I can confirm that Diode Dynamics has a few new products coming. Not just specific to Tundra/Sequoia/Tacoma/4Runner, but overall product offerings.
