I definitely have them fooled then…BIG TIME. And the compliments aren’t just coming from the ladies though…gay dudes, straight guys, younger guys, older women, older men. I guess i have a universal mystique physique? Honest to goodness i’m absolutely perplexed about the whole situation. I can’t make heads or tails of it. Plus it’s totally wasted on me since i’m not a player.

I guess I should be more specific. Around where I live when someone says snakes, it's usually in reference to the venomous type. We live in rattlesnake country and those things get the shovel if they're in or in real close proximity of the house. All other snakes, king, gopher etc get to live.

I've never seen anything but a water snake within a mile of my home, and that was only once in the last 30 years.

When I was doing field work I ran into some rattlers, and I don't mind them. They are usually polite enough to let you know they are there, so they are easy enough to work around.

I respect them, but I do not fear them.

While Eileen may be the more common spelling, 'Ilene' is not only the name but also a play on how it's spelled to extenuate the joke w/a play on words... pronounced 'I-Lean' but spelled 'I-lene'; plus you wouldn't follow up the second half of that w/ 'Eireen'!!!!
