2017 Tundra brake accuator

Has anybody else had any issues with their 2017 tundra with a faulty brake actuator? My truck has been into Toyota for over 2 1/2 months waiting for a new brake actuator that is apparently hard to find nationwide. It’s kind of frustrating that they can’t get that part. I’ve been pretty patient.

 

By brake actuator, do you mean the towing brake controller?

 

was it having to do with getting out of park?

 

Sorry. Been really busy. It was a check engine light, brake light and quite a few others. Thought they fixed it but came back on. They said it’s on a nation wide back order. They said could not be driven so still, after 3 months sitting at dealer’s waiting for the part. So frustrating. Think they will give me a loaner car this week. Fingers crossed.

 

Every part is available on the used market. Many if not most are rock solid oem parts too.
