Hey guys! I have searched and can’t find a definite answer. My tailgate assist ball broke off. I ordered a threaded one that was OEM toyota and the ball is bigger, won’t fit the stock strut. Has anybody installed the correct one? Part 68961-0C020? The non threaded one? How is that installed? Do you need a special crimper or what? Wondering if I may just break down and let the dealer do it?
