Yup, Mevotech is complete and utter fucking garbage. How funny would it be if the shitty UCA ended up being the primary contributor to you spending all this extra money on new UBJ? OEM wins, every time. Buy once, cry once.

Also looks like your tire has been making contact with the knuckle/UBJ. Another potential contributor here.

Gumbo it was... Cooked down some tomatoes and okra. Browned some gator. Sweated a trinity.. Made a dark roux... put it all together with a bit of cajun spice and thinned it down with a quart of crawfish stock. Added the andouille and let it simmer for a bit.
    Knocked it outta the park

Anyone buy a new dishwasher lately? Seems like Bosch is still considered the "best" by many but open to suggestions. The Bosch 500 from Costco is what I'm leaning towards.

I have a Bosch 500 series and do like it. No complaints except that (like all new dishwashers) it doesn't vent from the top so you are forced to use jet dry or a drying agent or else they do not dry.

We have what I think is a 300-series. Model number starts SHE55C05...

Been going great for 16 years now.

Really? Even our 15 year old Whirlpool dries dishes well. I was reading that the 500 series from Costco is different than if purchased elsewhere. It doesn't have the auto air feature.

New dishwashers don't dry dishes? Is that an energy savings thing?

I put a Whirlpool WDF330PAHT in 2 years ago and it works like you'd want it to and yes, it does have a drying setting. It was one of only two brands that still offered Bisque as a color option as well.

It has to do with the fact that old school dish washers vented from the top and new dishwashers vent from the bottom. Because warm air rises, the steam has no where to go with a vent at the bottom. That's why they don't dry as well, unless you use Jet Dry.

Here's a little $2000 fixer-upper. Gotta love the last line over on the right side. 2010 Toyota Tundra Double Cab · Pickup 4D 6 1_2 ft Facebook.jpg

Daughter was involved in a hit and run this morning on her way to school. Someone clipped her as she was moving into a turn lane, they were flying up behind her. They proceeded through the light as it it turned red and never stopped. She is okay but now the truck has almost matching marks on both fenders and I'll have to totally replace the bumper cover now instead of just smoothing out and repainting the other side. Hopefully I can pop that fender back somewhat straighter. Need to look at the rim as you can see the scuff mark on the "Coop" on the lower one and I can just make out a scuff mark on the rim there too.
