Better fix the leak before trying to get rid of the smell.

Thanks. That’s very logical and hopefully one would check for a leak before trying to stop the smell it would cause. good news, there is no leak. Water tends to get in there from time to time when driving and using wash fluid with the glass open or in the morning when dew or rain is on the roof and we forget and drive off. Or from coming out of the car wash and driving for a bit then open the glass only to find a little water runs inside. Yes, we are all guilty of that at one time or another. It’s not always but it happens. Then the fabric gets wet….and then it stinks. Anyway, my issue is solved. Hope OP has good luck fixing theirs.

I'm having the same issue but I do not have a sunroof. Has there been any update on solving the issue?

I found this page because I've been searching as to why when the rain started here on my block my neighborhood. Why suddenly there was this overwhelming smell of antifreeze just a downpour of rain and I thought well maybe it's washing it off the street or something but it's extremely strong entirely of the streets and down. And it started with the rain there's no storm gutters or anything and if there are at the far end of the block they don't smell like antifreeze and we've gone up and down the block no single car smells of antifreeze as none of them have moved this morning they're all part none are warm none smell of antifreeze but the smell of antifreeze on the entirety of the block is just pungent. And the only thing I keep thinking is what are they putting in the clouds. I know that sounds insane but this is not the first time we've had this happen maybe it's just washing the streets but it's not the only Street that's happened on here.

Sorry just wanted to add because I don't have a tundra and I don't have any kind of cars for an entire block that have moved or driven anytime. I've been sitting outside listening to the fender because it's been sounding different.

    Anyhow.

Just felt like was doing this ..

    Simply for reference.

Hope you found the issue or what was causing it

What about water getting under plastic door sill plates, from behind trim or rubber seals, there's a nice cavity there on some vehicles, not sure if I've had them off of my tundra tho
