The only gun I sort of regret getting rid of was a HK USPc in .40. I liked the gun but not the caliber. Now a USPc in .45 is sitting at my gun shop calling my name.

Every 380 I’ve ever owned. Bodyguard, Keltec P3AT and Kahr P380, all just too unreliable.

I can’t in good conscience sell them without disclosing that they are POS’s.

The only 380 that I love to shoot, operates flawlessly and is accurate is a 50 year old browning.

I bought them years ago before Micro 9’s were a thing, hoping for a smaller carry package. Started with the Keltec, went to the Kahr thinking it would be more reliable and then thought, surely a company like S&W will have it figured out.

When the original Shield came out, I got it and it was plenty reliable, but I just didn’t shoot it well. Went back to the bulkier Glock 26 for a couple of years.

Currently using an Sig P365X with EPS Carry.

The new bodyguard 2.0 eats all the other micro 380s lunch and dinner...its what they all should've been from the start

Dont really have any guns I dont like.
If I had to pick my favorites....
    Handguns: FNX .45 in FDE,and S&W 610 10mm Revolver reamed to accept 10mm Magnum.
Rifles: Sig AR in FDE with all the fixins. EOtech with the flip to the side Magnifier. And my Winchester .30-.30 for history's sake.

Have a Ruger LCP .380 Pocket pistol thats surprisingly accurate for its size.
Did a trigger job on it since the factory trigger kinda sucked.

Not saying this is happening in your case but it's something to think about.
In a lot of cases when a semi auto doesnt feed properly it's the fault of the shooter.
For lack of a better term they "limp wrist" the gun.
If you dont keep your wrists stiff enough the recoil isnt enough to eject the empty or cycle the slide.
After I broke my wrist it took me a while to build the strength back in it and I had the same issue.
Or it could just be a poorly made firearm.
I know Keltecs aren't exactly high end firearms.
You can change the slide spring to a weaker one which does help in a lot of cases.
You can buy a spring pack for most semi autos with various tension springs.
You dont want to go to light or it can damage the firearm.

Sorry, late to the party. For me its my Remington 783 bolts action in .308. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, shoots very straight very accurate. Just the price of 308 ammo has skyrocketed here in cali...

I don't think I have a least favorite anymore. But it used to be my S&W SD40.
What a piece of shit. No safety, hard trigger. I guess you get what you pay for. It was my first handgun purchase, when I turned 21. I think I paid $300 for it about 16 years ago.

I love my Remington 1911. I call it my Cadillac, because it's so well balanced. But it's not for daily carry. It's more of a fun targeting gun.

I always felt like I was compromising with .380. Much prefer the micro 9’s out there.-
It has nothing to do with that. I have much higher recoil firearms that I shoot just fine.

I can literally replicate the feed issues on two of them by just dropping or racking the slide.

Anyway, why would I mess with a .380 with inferior ballistics when micro 9’s exist with nearly identical capacity or more, which are dead reliable? Makes no sense (for me). When the P365 came out, it basically made .380’s obsolete in my book.

As I might have mentioned I HATE shooting at a range!!!!
Not only are the rules to stringent which I get since there's a lot of new shooters that go to the range but you're so limited in what you can shoot.
Shooting paper over and over gets old real fast!! Not to mention the danger, you look up and the shade cover is full of bullet holes!!!
We lease a place thats mainly for fishing.
It sits on 10k acres and is owned by a lumber company.
There's lakes all over it of various sizes. It's where they sourced all the sand and gravel to build I-10 East.
You can also hunt deer on the place for a little extra money.
You're not allowed to drive your truck on it except for the main road going in so ya gotta have a three wheeler or SxS to get around the place...No motorcycles either.

This is the free flowing spring you pass on the way in.
While you can drink it I dont. If you're not used to it it can give you a serious case of Montezuma's revenge.
We mainly use it for wash water.
    upload_2025-9-1_7-35-32.jpg

The place is also full of Gators so ya gotta keep a close eye on the Dogs when ya bring em with you.

    True enough...
Bought the .380 Mainly for the Wife as a purse Gun.
After letting Her shoot the .45 it obviously had way to much recoil!!!
She's a Wiz with Her sawed off just over legal 12 Gauge though.
When we met She told me She could hit a beer can in the air from the hip.
Of course I thought She was full of Shit....
Damned if She didnt do it...missed the first one and proceeded to hit four in a row.
As Mr T would say..."I Pity The Fool" who confronts Her with that Shotgun in Her hands!!!

I figured it was the perfect caliber for the Wife.
And studies show that once the lead starts flying most attackers are going to skedaddle even if it's a .22

Yeah....thats one of those rifles you dont go plinking with.
You get it sighted in and put it away.
It's weird, when you're sighting it in you feel every bit of the recoil!!!
When shooting a deer you dont even notice it!!

I’ve got a watergun that sucks something awful. Even after glueing the nozzle on and bypassing the overpressure valve, the seals arent in tolerance and marine grease didnt make it much better.

The only thing I dont like about the 1911 is ammo capacity.
Especially when you consider the FNX holds 15 plus one.
But to me it's kinda like a Winchester .30-.30...

I admit that over the decades I made some mistakes when buying guns... AR-15s, AR-10s and AKs come to mind, so I tend to distill my arsenal down to what I really want, need and like then re-home the rest. I still own a few that I never shoot, but they are guns inherited from my father.

I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with AR-15s, AR-10s and AKs, they just weren't right for me.

Yeah...thought a lot about picking up an AK just to have one.
But the few that I've shot never impressed me.
The tolerances are so sloppy it just feels like a POS.
Which I found out later on that it's done on purpose so it'll shoot dirty.
But that of course effects accuracy.

My last AK was the Norinco type 56 that I modernized about 15 years ago. It cycled subsonic rounds and shot MOA groups with Golden Tiger ammunition when suppressed. It was a great rifle, but it became a been there and done that very well... what's next rifle for me.
