Hey everyone! I got a mystery on my new to me 2015 SR. So today I noticed when the truck is running with no headlights on, if i use the turn signal the radio screen and environmental controls all strobe along with the turn signal. I just got it so i dont know all too much about how the lighting works but i imagine thats not supposed to happen. For added context there was a bunch of aftermarket lighting done but i removed most of it. As of now the only thing notable that's connected is:
New PERDE Toyota Tundra OE Style LED Headlight
    Led Tail Lights
    the turn signals are halogens
    LED interior cab lights

Has anyone had a similar experience with this?
    1. [IMG] The side marker, parking, tail, license plate, instrument panel lights, and daytime running lights turn on.

in case 1 there is no flashing of the radio, The above description occurs with the key off if set on the dial and automatically when the key is on even if the switch is set to none.

    2. [IMG] The headlights and all lights listed above (except daytime running lights) turn on
      .
Case 2 No Flashing of the radio

Case 3 (The off Postion) Radio will flash on if vehicle is on, if vehicle is off and turnsignal is on the radio will not flash
I suppose i could just run it with the sidemarker setting in the daytime to avoid this but im looking for a little insight.

Additionally, the headlights and tail lights do not flash when locking or unlocking the vehicle. im not sure if that is normal or not.

    Thanks!

Do you still have the OEM stuff to put back? I'd put everything back to stock and see if it solves the problem. Aftermarket lighting has had adverse affects such as the fob not working.

I never had the OEMs. When I bought it, it already had aftermarket LED headlights. one was out, so I swapped in the Perdes. Even then, the headlights and taillights didn’t flash when locking.

Honestly, I’m having a bit of buyer’s remorse after realizing the previous owner added a ton of lighting but took a lot of shortcuts to install it the “easy way.” I’ll go through all the grounds during the daytime.

It might be the headlights since the problem seemed to go away when I disconnected them, but I also repinned the connections according to the install instructions, so now I’m not really sure what the next step should be.

Did you remove the stuff, or was it someone else?

Sounds like the removal process also took the ground out.
