    My truck is a Platinum and he said he mentioned he cannot create the trim on a Plat due to structural integrity :(

    Yeah, that's correct. It was the thread with the hood bulge LED. I PMed him and he said I have to purchase another trim for his 3D print to work.

    His other solution was to just drill two holes for the wires and double side tape the controller on. I haven't received my sPod yet so can't really make a decision until I see what I can do.

    Just using the app works great, too. Of course that requires using your phone. Not always super convenient. But the app does connect and work pretty fast.

    Oh, I forgot about that. It connects via bluetooth? It'll just suck if anyone else tries to drive it and cannot access the lights.

    I guess I do have an old iPhone I can use haha.

    Yeah, uses Bluetooth. It works so well it allowed me to be lazy and not bother mounting the controller yet, haha.
