Today I brought my truck to a quick stop to make a red light. No one behind me after I come to a complete stop.It felt like someone , bumped into the back of my truck. Startled me looked up and no one was even behind me. I have no idea what I felt. Why would my truck bump like that after coming to a complete stop the whole truck jolted..42,000 miles

Dry, sticking, or damaged rear driveshaft yoke would be my guess.

Happened to my wife once ... she was at a red light and felt a jolt and didn't see anything. About a mile down the road at the next light some dude jumped out the back of her truck and ran across the street.

Well, I don't think it was somebody jumping out of the back of my truck, but that's crazy.

Guess I better put it in the shop on a Friday. Hopefully, it'll be okay to drive until then...

I had already been stopped for a few seconds. That's why it was such a shock and I thought I had been bumped, and the river ran by another vehicle. It was that big of a jolt
