His original post was Friday night, so I'm assuming this morning will be the earliest a dealer can look at it... I'm eagerly awaiting what they find

I been through Toyota buy back. took 9.5 month and KY AG involvement to finally resolve it. KY lemon Law explicitly states the manufacture reimburses for the vehicle cost, taxes and registration minus usage cost. NO MODS ARE INCLUDED IN THE REIMBURSEMENT, and only the first registration is reimbursed. I bought my 2024 in December 2023 and payed registration for 2023, then i payed registration for 2024 which was not included in the final check. Good thing i went to our tax assessment department, told the story and they reduced my registration to $100.
That is KY law, check your state LL

Yes, each state is different. Mine was Florida. We have 2 years LL on new cars, nothing on used. They also calculate usage deduction, but its pretty lenient, we only had 3600 miles on the vehicle, so we didnt get any mileage deductions. Some states give 30 days on used even.

I’m guessing this turned out to be nothing? If it were a bad recall motor I would assume we would have heard something about it.
