ARE Caps

Found a CX Classic about 3 hrs away from me. It just so happened to be color matched. The paint on one side is kinda rough, overall I’m happy for 1K. I was getting quotes for almost 5K. Absolutely no way.

I have owned three ARE caps over the years. Two of them are still in circulation. Both of them are CX.
For the most part they are excellent.
Your dealer will also be very important. There is care that needs to be taken when installing to prevent leaks and ensure a nice fit on the truck.

Options to buy IMO:
1. The front tilt/sliding window.
2. Windoors.
3. I am on the fence about the CX Evolve rear glass. I love the look but I don't like how it only opens about 90 degrees. I am tall and I hit my head on it.

 

Agreed 100% on the Evolve rear glass.
