Note to self. Don’t post pic of Dad’s old autobody shop of toilet with unflushed floater next to business desk and chained up German Shepard attack dog.

You better post that pic. Thats how a shop oughtta look. Clean garages freak me out. Like how are you supposed to enjoy it if youre cleaning up every day. Aftermath of my battery box build.

It might just be the angle of the pics, but in some of them it looks like there is very limited up-travel.

I’ve been google searching for a few hours, but haven’t found anything definitive…do the access cab and the double cab have the exact same front fender? Because i’m looking for a replacement.

No. AC and RC same. DC is its own beast.

PS - if ever in question, here's what I do:
    • Google: year cabtype VIN (for one of each model, like 2004 ACCESS CAB VIN and 2004 ACCES CAB vin
    • Run each VIN thru the EPC site
    • Go to the front fender and look at the part number for both
    • If they match you're golden

I did go to a toyota website and attempt that. There were many different options of the AC and DC fenders just because of of different holes that may or may not be factory punched into them for the different fender flair options. I gave up after that and decided to post up my question here.

if you have a body lift can an AC run a DC fender like a gmc topkick? I guess the extra couple inches is closer to the top of the headlight.

Worked on daughters Cherokee this morning. Fuel injector #2 replaced in 40 mins. Seems to have solved the issue, running like a top now. Would have been a 5 min job, but it lives under the intake manifold. $124 part. Yeesh.

And the pre-80s C/K 10 in the GM world. Those inlines were indestructible torque monsters.

Right, that bar would have to go. Part of me feels like it's a little too much "I need attention" loud. If the one accent color wasn't Seafoam/Aqua I would have a lot less objection.
    And 2 pics? wtf?
    Messaged for:
    Susp mods
    Other mods
    Mileage
    interior pics
    frame pics

    I guess there's even a chance it's not 4x4.
Or it could even be a v6... not that there's anything wrong with that
    @The Black Mamba :rofl:;)

WTAF is this on the intake snorkels? I've seen it on a lot of them. Is this just a manufacturing blemish that comes out over time, or was there a coolant blowout, or something else?
Maybe the use of some chemical/cleaner that was an Oh Shit moment?

I think its just the plastic. I know the back2black stuff didnt touch it, when i had my intake tube out chasing that coolant drip, i tried wverything but a dye or paint.

Not a blemish; mine are perfectly fine but I don’t clean them. Looks like it reacted with whatever was used to clean it.

Can Anyone tell me how long it takes suspension to settle after lifting?
I want it to settle before getting alignment rechecked.

I’m at +2.5 right now. Was told should settle to about +1.5.”

It's going to be mostly settled after about 10 minutes of driving, but can still take a few weeks. Bushings will take a little bit longer. Every truck is different depending mostly on weight and other factors, so settling to 1.5" might not be the reality. Someone telling you that you will get 2" of lift from a product is 100000% a guest-imate.

Ok, i was wrong. Maybe the chalkiness on the intake tube was from degreaser. And apparently my intake tube appreciated whatever i rubbed it down with over time. I dont remember it looking this good the last time i was in here.

    Thanks.

I understood was a more of a round about number guesstimate.
Thought maybe it would settle more.
She’s sitting at 21” this morning, which is .5” lower than last night 2” more than what I had with stock.
Bit more than I wanted but the better handling and smoother ride is sweeet!

Reckon I’ll go ahead and order extended sway bar links then.
