Hey everybody, just curious if anyone else has had to get a radiator replaced on a 2024 tundra? I went in for an oil change, and they noticed the pink overflow spray on my skid plate or whatever it is and they didn’t bother to tell me until after I left. I called and complained and demanded to get my truck re-evaluated. They had it today, which is three days later and had the truck for almost 6 hours. They finally came and told me they couldn’t give me the truck back because they needed to replace the radiator. I only have 19,000 miles!!

anyone else have issues like this? I’m assuming it’s all covered by the warranty, but they haven’t said anything about that yet. they did provide me with a rental truck from budget, but I’m a little nervous. I’m a single mom and I don’t wanna get the runaround. Any tips or thoughts?

Things happen. It’s still under warranty, so I wouldn’t worry about it. My tundra has the OEM radiator with 104,000 miles, but my wife’s Highlander needed a New radiator at 38,000 miles. Some have 500,000 miles on the oem. At least they are replacing it.

There's a slim chance the radiator was damaged by road debris you will be on the hook for payment. Perhaps your insurance will cover it under comprehensive or collision?

Motor radiator is a little harder to damage because it is sitting behind AC condenser, correct?

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I think it's highly likely that it will be covered under warranty.
