    Hello!

Just wanted to make the obligatory first post - I recently purchased a '24 Limited Nightshade w/ 10k miles.

Not my first Toyota, but it is my first Tundra. I had an '04 Camry that's still kicking after being my commuter, my daughter's first car, and now my son's first car; I also have a '21 Camry that get's me places when MPG's are a concern.

I do some light off-roading—mostly unimproved roads to reach dispersed camping spots, mountain bike trailheads, or the local dunes for bonfires, surfing, or camping. I also tow our travel trailer regularly, but for the most part, the truck serves as a practical family vehicle. It’s just as likely to be loaded with groceries as it is with surfboards, bikes, and teenagers.

I just sold my '04 Nissan Titan to fund the upgrades to the new Tundra.

    Here's what's coming up!

    1) Suspension is on the way (thanks to Hotshot Offroad!). Here's what I ordered:
    • Bilstein 6112/6100's (@ 2.2")
    • Dirt King UCA's
    • Eibach rear springs (1")
    • Dobbinson diff drop
    • Everything getting installed the second week of September
    2) Lomax Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover in FRP Urethane - should be here early next week. I chose the removable "older" version VS the Stance because I think it's more in-line w/ my uses.

    3) Toyo Open Country AT3's in 35x11.5R20 on the stock 20x8 wheels are getting mounted up this weekend.

    4) Ordered Carista (actually via VeePeak OBD) for piped engine noise/AC adjustment/one-push windows/etc.

    Pics coming!

    Here are the future plans:

    1) The Tundra has a Borla Atak on in from the previous owner that almost kept me from buying it, but a local shop put a resonator on it (the OEM one had been cut-out) that helped a little bit. Needles to say I reached out to Dirty Deeds for help w/ a better solution or else I'm going w/ the next OEM take-off I can find. Mid-40's and loud V6 noises don't go well together lol - especially after owing some form of V8 for the last 30 years.

    2) Air Lift 5000 bags (w/ internal jounce bumpers to run @ 0 psi when I'm not towing).

    3) Diode Dynamic amber fog light replacement.

    4) Bed mat (looking at Lazfit) and bed extender (maybe R/C since it's more squared-off)

    5) Sound deadening matting and Beat Sonic amp in the future.

    6) Oversized bottle/drink holder replacement, interior black-out pieces, and different all weather mats somewhere along the line.
