Damn you shoulda been here an hour ago. Friggin manholes blasting up out of the ground, too much water all at once. Deluge is an understatement.

Daughters Cherokee. #2 injector seems to have gone out. Lives under the intake manifold, so decided against roadside repair. Dropped it at the shop (my FILs shop) for (me to) repair this weekend. Maybe today.

Tail is ok, the loins and back straps are the best. Also lots of cheek meat.

    This ^^

Also good meat up around the head, up under the neck going down to the chest, and with all the clamping muscle those fuckers have the jowls/cheek are good, but like with grouper cheek, I'm guessing some people think the prize isn't worth the effort or want to keep the head intact.

Tail-wise, I'd rather eat the long steaks up closer to the body than bone-in cross-cuts. Stuff that's near the end of the tail is also better for breading and frying, it's too skinny.

Music to my ears. Good deep flowmaster growl. I am happy. Not much drone on the interstate either. That’s why I dumped past axle. Super 40 series was a great choice for me

Im going super 50 soon. Ditching this 3” straight through Magnaflow. Too much volume, too much drone.

I haven't driven her yet. Brandin is buttoning everything up now. Should have like 2" more down travel and be more stable in the rear now.

    Yes those are reservoirs.

Started a bathroom remodel. Figured I’d demo and frame then sub out the rest. Electrician bailed half way so had to finish wiring myself. After 2 weeks of “next week” from plumber, I learned and did the entire plumbing from moving drain lines, installing vent lines, soldering new copper and even took off the 80yr old lead ring toilet flange so I can install a new flange right at floor level once tile is in. And since I can’t find a drywall guy to come out for a small job, that’s next on the list. Hellova 3 weeks IMG_1484.jpg
    IMG_1481.jpg

Oh and while I was installing the flashing on the vent lines on the roof, noticed 2 chunks of shingles missing so patched the roof too.
Hellova 3 weeks lol. So much fun

Dude, I had 4 Magnaflow’s on…Couldn’t really hear her go unless I floored it.
I had no idea until we lifted the truck this morning. I had a 50 series on my old 05 dodge 1500 6-speed. I loved downshifting…good growl then.

Good on ya for RedGard'ing the floor! Smart move, friend.

I hate sweating copper. Like, hate-hate. But I'd probably say "fuck it" and take another attempt with how hard it is to get decent contractors these days...

Soldering copper was the easiest part. Prep, flux, Heat up the side where you need solder to be sucked into and once flex starts bubbling, start trying to solder checking every 5-10 seconds. Solder on the opposite side of the pipe you’re heating. Once it melts and sucks in the solder, move torch away and run solder on side you had the blow torch.
Bend about half inch of solder wire if using half inch pipe, 3/4 for 3/4, 1”for 1” etc. Use only what you’ve bent. That should do it
