What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I've looked at those, they do look good, just not a big fan of the rear kick out, I don't go offroad. But, at that price I might could learn to like it.

 

Colton also sells CaliRaised sliders. They offer a no kick out version, seems RCI only does the kick out. Send him a message and see what the cost difference would be if you want no kick out.

New Toyota oem disc pads and rotors on front.

Ordered Amsoil for engine and differential.

Later next week I plan on coolant drain and refill, and transmission drain and refill.

Just getting level set maintenance wise on a truck that was previously (apparently) used for towing of an unknown sort.



The truck has Firestone airbags.

The front brakes, while not terribly worn, had pulsing like runout in the rotors.

That's all cleaned up.

I don't intend to mod this truck, just drive it and maintain it, but best intentions et al.

 

I'll get shit for this, but I kinda like it, with the limited grill and it being cement.

 

Installed my ADD Stealth fighter with 38” curved amber and 10” slim light bars on the corners. Wired all up with a new auxbeam 6 gang panel. About a weeks worth of afternoons getting it all done!

 

That's all that matters.

Best mod ever...... the title mod!

 

Mine was on the inside so all the polishing didn't help me. I added another photo of the truck full front with lights on. I always try no-cost or inexpensive fixes knowing if they don't work I'll try something else. I am going to watch how it holds up and if needed give it a clear coat spray to protect it. Worse case, just sand off any dirt, coloring, etc.

 

I like the TUNDRA bottom bumper trim.Where did you get that or how ?

 

It's bed liner painted on stock bumper. I got a vinyl sticker template (from local flea market but can order on line). Instead of getting the letters I got the part left over with the letters cut out. Stuck it to the lower valance and sanded the letters, roughed it up for better adhesion. Then simply painted on gray bed liner and pulled the sticker off. I use bed liner as I have had great experience with it holding up to bugs etc. It has been over a year and zero issues.

It’s good to see them bounce back at the coast after taking hits in two successive hurricane seasons. We’ve leased a big house right on the beach and will have all the family and grandkids together for a week. It’s gonna rain some, but that’s 100% normal in Florida this time of year. Stock BBS wheels.

 

Stock for who? I've never seen those rims on a Tundra

 

Some trim levels did obviously come with BBS wheels, but I have never seen the poster mqqn's style on a Tundra, and TBH they don't even look like a BBS design to my eyes. I question if they even are BBS or if they are simply aftermarket with false caps. Wouldn't be the first time. There is a forum member here who has 3d printed Ray's caps for his "not Rays" wheels. Not saying that mqqn did. I assume he just bought the truck like that.
