    Good Day everyone.

I thought that at one point i had read on here the best general purpose greases but I can not seem to find it via search.

I have two things that I’m looking for feedback on.

one is what General purpose greases do you use and what do you look for when selecting the greases based on purpose

    second.
I have an echo weed eater that has a grease point. Have you ever taken the time and disassembled cleaned and lube / grease your weed eater.
What’s your frequency and did you see any noticeable improvement ?

I use red and tacky for most applications.

I live in the desert so I can't help you with weed eaters. Just rocks, dirt, cactus and fake grass around here.

Mystik JT-6 High Temp #2 Grease for pretty much everything unless you're talking specialty stuff or marine applications. Easily one of if not the best general purpose greases available. Red and tacky separates just sitting there.

Can't help you on weed eaters. I don't put huge time on mine so when I say they last ten years with no grease maintenance that may not help you at all.

I have a stihl kombi weed eater attachment. I actually do grease it with stihl grease. It has a bolt you back out, grease tube (like toothpaste) threads into it and squeeze. I dont know what kind of grease it is though.

I’ve been using marine grease if I remember right, it’s been working well

    Thanks ALL

just made it in and was watching Foghorn Leghorn compilation. That was effortless laughter.

I will get both the red tack and the Mystic
I appreciate the input. Outside of the weed eater , it’s just generic stuff to grease up.

Lucas red and tacky for everything. Wheel bearings, suspension, steering, if it requires grease, it gets red and tacky. 25yrs with no issues so I’m gonna say it’s fine.
