I have to replace my compressor in my 07… as it has a serious tick and I think the clutch is blown. With a compressor replacement I have to recharge the system. But everywhere says a different amount of refrigerant…. Haynes manual says 12 oz… but online I read 24?? anyone here know how many oz of refrigerant it takes?

There should be a sticker on your radiator support or the bottom side of the hood, usually you’ll also need to add oil

I just did some work on my 2008 Crewmax Limited. There is a yellow sticker on the hood, passenger side towards the cab. It tells the type and amount. My Crewmax was 1.21-1.43 pounds.
