Congrats! I feel the same way about my truck… pretty sure I noted it here somewhere, but if I were to sell mine I’d definitely make an effort to get a 4.7L 4Runner. More family friendly, while also still being a fun rig.

I like those too but it would be a similar situation as a Double Cab. Meaning because of their age, it would still require a lot of work and preventative maintenance that I'm not sure I have the time or desire to do again. 5th Gen 4Runner or GX460 might be in the future.

Who knows. I change my mind daily.

Same My wife and I bought a RX350 in anticipation of having a kid, now I’ve been showing her 460’s going look how much more room we would have haha. Endless cycle.

We had our first three kids while driving a 2000 F150 “access cab”. Baby car seat rear center and bigger car seats on either side. Works fine and there’s plenty of room. They’re big enough for booster seats and riding shotgun with you before you know it and you’ll be pissed you sold your 1GT. As good of care as most of the regulars here take, our trucks can be reliably handed over to those same kids to drive.
