Recently noticed that at slower speeds turning left and not as noticeable to the right getting a strange vibration or what feels like small little bumps in the steering wheel. Checked everything and don't see anything obvious. No play with the wheels off the ground so not really sure about what it could be. Alignment is spot on. No rubbing. 2011 2WD with just over 90k on the odo. Looking for ideas as to what it may be or where to start.

Lifted the front end last night. Zero play at the 3 and 9 o'clock moving the wheels. What i thought at first. Still could be and I am not feeling it.

Don't see anything else that is obvious. I do think I need a balance of the tires but. It sure that would provide this issue.

My front wheel bearings were toast, still had zero play off the ground when checked.

I will make a look at them this weekend.

Any recommendations on brand of parts for this outside of oem? Would like to use OEM but sometimes the price is outrageous.

Koyo is OEM for fronts for many years of Tundra

How do your tires look? What kind of tire are they? And when you had the front off the ground did you turn it?

Is it in the front end, or the steering wheel? If down under, do a complete front axle check.

Tires are fine. Less than 10k on them. No noticeable issue with tires. I do know I will be getting a rebalance soon. I did not turn it when front was lifted. However all other suspension a d other items seem to be fine. No obvious issues with anything.

When turning left I get what feels like a small vibration or very faint shutter in the steering wheel. Only to the left and only at slow speeds. I.e. making a left turn at a inter section.

Replace your PS fluid. Pull a little out, put that much back in...drive around the block both ways, repeat until you have full, fresh fluid.

Will give that a try. Getting ready to do a full fluid replacemnt on power steering and brake fluid anyway as I am close to 100k.
