Sure don’t understand why you’d think that.
You weren’t bothered to care about it, but when you find about it, now you expect it?
Those that have it were paying attention, & pretty sure many more are still willing to find & pay for it as optional equipment.
My point was suggesting Toyota to reconsider making it available, and not that anyone was owed the pkg.

There's a lot of information in the 14 pages of this thread that would have been helpful to avoid all of back and forth.

I’m ordering a new trd pro (2026) and am not sure what this package is. On my last 2 pro’s the exhaust was just included. Does this package do anything on the pro? Shouldn’t it already come with the top engi engine exhaust options? I’ll for sure order it if it’s something extra, but I can’t find info on it as it relates to the pro.

It is an OPTIONAL $3,400.00 package that includes different intake, different exhaust, and different tune to compensate. It produces a little more horsepower (32hp) and torque that peaks at a lower RPM than stock (400rpm less). It also requires the use of premium fuel. This is not hard fellas.

I think I read Toyota lowered the price to 3100 or 3200 for the package on MY26.
I’d still like to get but after driving my 2024 TRD, I’m pretty impressed with the power of the truck and may not bother with it lol

That's good news in a world where nothing ever seems to get cheaper. I originally tried to source all the components myself to save some money, but after months of no success, I gave up. Maybe Toyota will actually offer it as an add-on accessory package one day like they said they would.

No. That's just where it is in the configurator and has been that way since the 2025 model year.

What I gather from all of this, is that the engine is fully capable of essentially another 50hp from the factory.

BUT the question is, can the main bearings hold it

Or maybe it's the premium fuel that lets the bearings keep on keeping on :)

That there is a distinct possibility. And an oil upgrade....anecdotally, my 0w-40 swap has been going swimmingly.

Plan to continue that trend with DODGE SRT Spec Pennzoil ultra platinum oil again on my next OCI

I'm getting a lifetime average of 13.8 mpg with the 0W-20. I'd not be able to pass up a gas station I'm afraid if I switched to 0W-40.

I average 16.5mpg at 70mph to work and back.

Still a 0w oil. 40 represents the working temperature. Higher temp, maintains appropriate viscosity to a higher temperature.

5w-30/40 would decrease your fuel mileage.

Trip to Panama City Beach i was around 18-19mpg on 35s with 5 people and 300lbs of luggage (7mo old life).

I just did a quick read up on oil and the viscosity difference. I'm in Phoenix, Az. I bet I could benefit from 0w-40.

I don't see the Performance Package offered in Canada.

The overall selling price of the TRD Pro however looks to be less in Canada (Ontario) for the same truck, $105,272 CDN (all in) or about $76,284 US.

    upload_2025-8-15_18-45-4.png

Adding front tow hooks is a $1087.00 CDN ($788 US) option.

    Front Tow Hooks

Front Tow Hooks are engineered to help elevate your off-road experience with vehicle recovery.

    • Tailored with a vehicle-specific design, ensuring seamless integration with your vehicle's frame and preserving structural integrity.
    • Vibrant red finish adds a touch of style and enhances visibility for increased safety during recovery operations.
    • Helps prevent vehicle damage with secure attachment points for recovery straps.

Includes: Valance Cover (Rec. Hook), Stabilizer Bar Brackets, Frame Mount Brackets, Recovery Hooks, Hardware

The US price included the $3400 Pwr Pkg, so US & Canada MSRP are pretty close
