I bought 23 Tundra on 29 June. At the time, I did not hear any excessive wind noise. Drove for a couple of days to work and did not catch it probably because radio and AC. My wife's first ride, she heard the wind noise coming from passenger door. After research, found forward door seal had come loose. After I reattached it, found the seal between fender and frame was not there. Dealership confirmed it was supposed to be there and installed it. Got the truck back on Mon and I began listening for it and it came back at about 40 MPH. After searching the door again, I noticed the window seal had a slight bend out. I rolled window down and it appeared to have been pinched a little on the top edge so I lowered window, tried to readjust and put window back up This is what it looks like now after not lowering window. I also have some drivers side wind noise at 70 MPH but I think that is normal. Never driven a Tundra until this one. I have an appointment on Mon at Dealership again and hope this is covered under 3 year 36K warranty. Also notified my sales rep and sales manager.

This happens because that's also where the seal folds in the package when supplied new, and still has the old shape set into it. It needs to take a set in the installed position for awhile, and right now the surface has too much friction to do its job properly. If it weren't under warranty I'd rub a tiny amount of Crisco or cooking oil on the seal to let it operate properly. Wipe the remainder off after a few days when things are working right.

Great info, thank you. If the warranty does not cover that, I will definitely try it.

I put some painters tape over the corner of the window for the drive home and the noise was all but gone. Will update when service is done.

Dealership called and the agent said his 2025 is doing the same thing. He is not sure if anything can be done about it but is checking with warranty department since apparently it has been an issue for 2+ years now.:confused:

Dealership called back, seal has been replaced and covered by Toyota at no cost.

I went to pick up the truck Mon and when I checked it, the bubble was still there. The agent said they replaced the drivers side by mistake.... So I left it, they had to order the part and called back today (Wed) that it was replaced. I drove home and still heard the noise. When I got out, the bubble was still there.... Drove back to the dealership, the rep went and talked to the lead tech and they replaced the inner door seals on both doors, not the window seal. He said they said it was cosmetic. I said ok but it still has a wind noise. The rep said his Tundra has the same issue. I said I was sorry to hear that but my wife does not want to listen to that wind noise. We went and looked at 3 other Tundras in the lot, one did not have it, two had it on the drivers side. The rep talked to the Service Manager and asked for me to leave the truck, they would get with the techs and put together something for corporate so they could get involved since it is not just my truck. Thought this was over...guess not. Will keep updating as I progress. I talked to a friend and he said that seal maybe a little too long which causes it to bubble like that. If anyone has this or fixed it, please let me know.

SO the inner door seals are covered, at least we know that now.

So... There's been a book written on this at this post if you're curious https://www.tundras.com/threads/wind-noise-concern.98646/page-22#post-3886748

I don't believe that we have a solution except that the window runner is garbage... And techs who install it some do ok job and some don't

You are right, it is a book and thank you for sharing that. I am going to post my info there so I can follow it as well. My noise is definitely not the whistling. I have wind noise on both sides but the passenger side at 35-40 MPH sounds like a wind gust coming thru a partially cracked window which I can hear over the noise. Just had the inner door seals replaced on both doors as well. I might start taping the window seals and see if that quiets it. I know the bubble I have, it stopped with the tape.
