Android adapter

So I had a dasaita type unit for almost 3 years. It was great, but don't use the truck much, and use only google maps, and Spotify.

I still have kept the factory 2020 headunit, which I will repurpose.

Are the external dongle android units any good on the stock headunits, much cheaper than another dasaita type unit,

 

Doesn't the stock head unit have Android Auto capability?

 

Yes it does, but if I want to install apps I think it is limited, or am I wrong here?

 

Well I re-installed the factory head unit, I dont use this truck much in daily driving, just on the camping trips, and all I need is maps, and spotify for that. Which I can use the android auto with phone now.
