While it is certainly more sturdy, plenty of owners are on their third or fourth of the revised part.

It may very well be improperly installed. I just see this being properly durable in my truck. Only time tell.

I haven't viewed the tech tip. In my case the seat panel attachment point. Shown in photo, JB Welded.
was supposed to be attached to the lowest portion of the round bar which the seat cover is also attached to.

instead it was resting on top of round bar. this resulted in it breaking right away. The previous three seat panel were installed correctly and broke anyway.

You have it right, but your pictures are hilariously small.

So has anyone personally checked their seat to see if it's installed right? I assume the older builds with original part look a bit different but same theory. I keep forgetting to look at mine.

Just had my passenger side seat panel replaced. I am on my 3rd drivers seat panel and so far it has held up.

My 2022 driver's side seat cracked after 2 years. I replaced my Predator running board with a full-length Rhino Dominator Xtreme D1 running boards. I have not had any issues with the side panel of my seat since I replaced the Predator running board

The dealership I went to replaced it at no cost to me. I never even mentioned a TSB.

Today the dealer said he will replace it under warranty but he will do it once... he said I have to learn how to getting out from my truck!!! I said since 11 years I'm getting out the same way with my F-150 and no plastic broken... For sure if it broke again I will not go to this Stealer

Freaking NUTS that this is still a thing. I’m 6’2 and 215 Pounds. Not a fat dude. I’m turning into a parking lot and I hear “SNAP!” 2022 just hit 50K. Great work Toyota. I’m a disabled vet with 2 screwed up legs. I HAVE to use my side steps, so that’s not the issue as Toyota claims. The issue is just crappy craftsmanship.
