Adding OEM Toyota Tow Mirrors

I'm planning to add these mirrors to my 2017 Tundra Limited and want to duplicate chrisbutnut's LED installation for BSM.

- Any recommendations for spec and source for the LED's that mount so nicely to the interior panel?
- Do you remember wire color or can you suggest easy way to identify BSM wire in harness when truck is sitting in my garage?
- After wiring the LED inline, does that prevent the commonly noted BSM error on the dash?
- Or more specifically, do I need to ensure the circuit is completed after inline LED install?

I welcome suggestions on preventing that error.
