    Perfect.

Good chance I'll end up in that area if I don't migrate south with the birds when I retire.

My dad's family is from the area, old loggers when men were men. We've had family reunions at Farragut state park, right near Athol.

It's gonna hurt the wallet to find something like I have now, in Idaho.

I loved my Ecoboost. Boost for the win. V8 with a twin turbo.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    all very true.

and then you have a Tesla.

    it is immediate acceleration.

    gut wrenching acceleration.

every grown-ass man should experience a Plaid model - just once.

passing on the hwy is nasty.

Not trying to be that guy, but are you sure it was a V8? I don't remember Ford offering an EcoBoost that was a V8. I thought they only offered the 2.7 L twin turbo V6 and the 3.5 L twin turbo V6

    Today's youth...

Please note the punction w/in @can'tdecidewhichcolorthunderheis's post...

1: He previously owned and loved his ecoboost (no mention of displacement)...

2: This statement simply reinforces his opinion that it's boost over NA for the win...

3: In reference to the specific question asked of the group, his vote would be for a V8 w/a twin turbo...

I suppose after re-reading it can be taken as separate statements/answers but all together you must concede that it sounds like he was referring all to his EcoBoost.

The 5 speed in my Dad's 1989 Chevy Sprint (Suzuki Swift/Geo Metro) was super smooth. The inline 3 was a little under-powered, though.

He definitely could have made it clearer that what he was voting for was different than the EcoBoost he previously owned.
