This is my attempt at trying to give back to this community. I'll be releasing designs in time and will keep this post updated with that list, as well as my build link in my signature.

I'll use this thread to post my designs as I release them. Just tune in from time to time.

All "hard" plastics will be printed in ASA and all "flexible" plastics will be printed in 95A TPU. These are acceptable for climates for vehicle interiors and both have UV resistance. Wall thickness will be increased slightly from normal and infills will be adequate for strength. All filament will be printed in black color unless otherwise specified. You'll see other colors in my demo pics but those are mainly for testing. I'll entertain more color options in time if there is more popularity in doing that. I'll always entertain feedback and improvements that anyone has.

I've priced these appropriately based on the cost of filament used and my efforts for testing, printing, assembling, packing, etc. Shipping costs are included, so the price is out the door including shipping. This may change over time.

I should be able to get an order turned out in about a couple days (some of these parts take 12+ hours to print!). In other words, I'll try to turn it around as soon as possible so be patient with me.

See the next post down for the part number breakdown as well as all the designs I currently have to offer.

Installing is simply popping the current tray out, disconnecting the cigarette plug, then popping this insert in its place. You still need to have power from that plug if you want to connect anything but we can discuss that later.

Everything I’ve seen available for this tray has either been layering something on top of it or drilling into it - I don’t like either so I wanted to do something about it.

This is a multi-piece design where the base is TPU and insert is ASA. The TPU has the flexibility for installation and won’t scratch the truck in that area. The ASA is for rigidity in mounting whatever you want up there.

This is meant to be modular for future “insert” ideas but currently I have 2 main versions - one with just an AMPS mounting surface and the ASA for attachments and the other has a hole for a USB insert. The ASA insert has standard AMPS or RAM mounting hole spacing. You can see an AMPS mount I have on the demo piece below for example. The color change is just for viewing the 2 separate pieces. I plan on offering these only in black for both pieces for now. Possible color options to come...

    60CED-1.0.A & 60CED-1.0.B & 60CED-1.0-A-AB

Here is the "standard" design (without the USB hole). I just have a model view of this one. This would require you figure out a way to wire something below this piece where the factory cigarette plug would be connected to. I do have a larger slotted hole to allow standard USB fittings to come up through and attach to anything that is mounted here that needs power.

    60CED-1.0.C & 60CED-1.0.D & 60CED-1.0-a-CD

Here is the "USB outlet" version. I have a model view and installed demo pics on my rig. I will post directions on installing a USB insert in that hole that you see in the model. I believe it's a somewhat standard insert (at least what I could find for examples online). The only thing you would need to do is figure out how to wire up the USB to the cigarette plug wiring that is above the head unit.

I MAY offer a fully assembled solution with USB plug and connecter to make it plug and play if there is enough interest (this is what I did for my rig - didn't cut or splice anything, just got a connector for plug and play).

Interested to see more and very cool but.... let me guess,
Day job: Engineer or Designer of some type? Just basing that on the complexity of your part numbering. ;)

Lol how’d you guess… You got it. Engineer and work in industrial manufacturing. We create part numbers and modify designs a lot and it spilled over into this ha

Let's just say I've worked with a lot of Engineers. (and Designers)
Former Toolmaker still in the biz but not on the bench. Manufacturing side of Semicon equipment support.

Cool! I’ve been in this world for close to 10 years and love it. We manufacture industrial power transmission components. I specifically work with gearing.

I love how others have designed things on here and Tacomaworld and always wanted to try my hand at it.

EXCELLENT point! Let’s just say I’ve seen the detriment of not future proofing part numbers and it gets crazy. This may not turn into anything but I’m having fun with it regardless.

    60CED-2 Center Console Cubby Mount

This was one of the first things I designed. I wanted a tray that could be an insert to the cubby from the center console area. This would be applicable to the folks that have a SR, SR5, Limited or TRD PRO trim (sorry other trims, you'll need to do the AJT "downgrade" kit for this to work...). Oh, and you'll also need the OEM wireless charger or at least have the trim piece (58802-0C030-C1) for this to work. Side note - I do have a design that would work with the non-wireless charger trim piece (what I originally had) but there is no way to feed any wiring from within the console area to whatever you have mounted on my design so I believe the cutout on the trim piece is important unless you want to cut it out yourself.

This is also another multi-piece, modular design where you have a universal mount and something that plugs into it. The universal mount and the "insert" that goes into this will both be ASA. The OEM charger insert piece will be TPU. Again, the color change is just for the demo piece to see the difference in pieces. I only plan to offer this in black for all pieces for now.

    60CED-2.0-A-ABC & 60CED-2.0.A & 60CED-2.0.B & 60CED-2.0.C

This is the design with the slots for AMPS and ram mounting pieces. This is the same layout as my Design #1 but just doesn't include any plug in for a USB charger. There will be a larger slotted hole to allow standard USB fittings to feed through but you will be responsible for pulling power from somewhere.

    60CED-2.0-A-ABC Design 2.0 full assembly of A + B + C

This will come with all parts assembled and include felt wrap on the feet that secure it to the cubby as to not scratch it up.

    60CED-2.0-a-ACD & 60CED-2.0.A & 60CED-2.0.C & 60CED-2.0.D

This design uses the same base universal mount and OEM charger insert but you get the charger puck insert for the Belkin mag charger on this one.

    60CED-2.0-a-ACD Design 2.0 partial assembly of A + C + D

This is a partial assembly of the universal mount, OEM charger insert and Belkin mag charger insert. This would come preassembed with the felt protector pads on the feet for the universal mount. You would be responsible to getting the Belkin mag charger and finding a way to wire it. I would entertain providing the mag charger and wiring to connect to your OEM wireless charger connector if there was interest.
