Hi everyone.Does anyone here know if there is a way to keep the hybrid motor on a little bit longer on take off and on flat roads? Mine comes on with the turbos on start off the line but quickly turns off leaving a red light. Would like to have that low end torque a little longer before it shifts in eco mode.Any ideas? Thanks for all replies.smileytn1

I would love it to stay on longer, which would really make it a hybrid. Unless you reprogram Toyota system. I don't think I've even read od anyone asking this. Worth asking anyways!!

Following, I’ve noticed that the hybrid system tends to provide assist for a longer duration when the engine is cold or when in tow mode. Occasionally, it also happens in Eco mode, but only for a short time. I would prefer if the EV assist could last longer, rather than just in short bursts.
