I absolutely love this truck, its a 2022 but love the twin turbo. Just not a fan of the chrome after seeing my cousin buy a 2024 that's chromeless. Had the Midnight Black version before this where the chrome kind of suited it, but long story short they have a weak front end in the corners under bumper crumpled the crinkle point after slowly sliding into a pole during a snowstorm then insurance wrote it off which the mechanics at the shop insurance sent me to even said was ridiculous it should have been a fast fix. Now I'm just wondering what kind of upgrades people are doing. So far I've only put on the Predator steps, bumper step, and took off the pavement princess Kumhos that were on it for the Duratrac RT 275/70R18. What's a ball park estimate to dechrome this truck?20250804_123629(1).jpg 20250523_203742(1)~2.jpg

They totaled his truck from the front end incident? It would be like 3 hours and $800ish to just replace that piece. I bought mine used and someone had done something similar - it left a weird ripple in one of the bumper corners and chipped the paint, but I don’t care too much. Just did touch up paint recently and now I don’t notice it. Bumpershellz makes a plastic overlay kit for the front mustache and separate product for the rear bumper, but I think it’d be ~$600 all in? I didn’t need to de-chrome mine other than the emblems, which was de-chromed the same way the bumpershellz work with a plastic overlay and 3M tape. No issues at all with that, even with pressure washing the emblems. Beautiful truck!

besides dechroming you can buy black covers for the door handles and mirrors - put them on mine and they look sweet.
Inside there are covers for steering wheel logo, door handles, consol, AC vents, etc - about 1/2 way done with dechroming the inside. May finish up by having a local vinly place cover everything on the interior
