    Hello everyone.
Looking for some comments or feedback from the experts here. Just picked up 2025 Platinum with AVS about 2 weeks ago. I wasn't looking for AVS but got such a good deal on this one, I couldn't pass it up. Just had a Readylift 3" SST Lift Kit With CV Axle - 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra Rear Air 4WD installed along with 295/60/20 KO3s at a local 4x4 shop.
As I was detailing yesterday, I noticed a small rake. The height in front is 41 1/8 and the rear is 41 7/8, while it's not less than and inch, to me is seems pretty noticeable. The details on the Readylift say "...for a nearly level stance with a 3” front lift and 1.25” rear lift." From ready the owners manual, the AVS should remain in auto, so most of the time it will be set to Normal. If I do move it to Low the back goes down as it should and is on 2/8 difference. However it doesn't stay in the Low setting because that's not how the AVS works. Before I call Readylift or go back to local shop, I want to hear from you all, is the difference ok. Thanks for you feedback.

Are you mixing up AVS and the rear air bags?

You're thinking of the load leveling suspension in the rear. Super easy adjustment to make. There's a height sensing bracket in the rear that keeps the rear suspension at the height you set. You can look up where it's located and how to adjust it to make it set level. You may actually want a little rake to keep from hitting the bump stops in the rear.

AVS = Adaptive Variable Suspension this is a feature that accommodates when changing drive modes,I'm going out on a limb that you have Auto Leveling,if so you can adjust the bed up 2.25" and drop it allegedly the same distance.

So what ever height you set it for it will level out once you hit 15MPH.

And what YeOldeRusty said is accurate too

Yes, you all are correct, I was referring the auto suspension (AVS). I was asking if there should be a height difference in back 41 7/8 vs front 41 1/8 after installing the lift. I called Ready Lift and they did confirm that the difference should be there. Thanks for responding.

It's really personal preference. If you want a little rake like you have now, then leave it. If you want it to sit level, then adjust the height sensing bracket and the rear will ride slightly lower in the neutral position.

The advantage of having rake in a normal truck is to prevent the rear from squatting as much while towing. That isn't an issue with the load leveling suspension (separate system from AVS but you have both). If you like the look of a level truck, then adjust the bracket. Even when towing it will sit level because the load leveling system will adjust the bags to ride level.

Rear air suspension has a height lever you or the shop can adjust to lower the rear back down. I like how it looks right now
