A bum knee has kept me off the lakes and rivers so far this year, but finally able to get out there for some lazy day fishing tomorrow morning. If anyone knows the areas in SW Washington, the Lewis River and the Swift Power Canal will be where I'll be spending my Sunday morning. Suppose to be hot later tomorrow, so will be up at Oh Dark 30 (3:30ish) to head out. Hope the trout, steelhead, and salmon are biting :fingerscrossed:

    Yeah...Always Loved Spring Time Fishing.

We have a fishing lease on some timber company land.
It's a bitch to get on the place!!!
Someone has to die or give up their lease which doesn't happen often.
And the Guy that manages the place has to like you.

Sounds like a pain the ass. Luckily I don't have to worry about that with the number of rivers and lakes we have. Most I have to do is drive an hour.

Be safe don't over do it
I'll be heading to MT in a couple weeks to fish the upper Yellowstone and Gallatin rivers and hopefully a couple high country lakes

Thank you. Taking is slow and easy for this first trip. I'm usually out in the boonies hiking river trails along the rivers and lake shore lines. Not this time, just easy to access areas. Good luck on your trip as well.

    A Pain in the Ass?
    How so?
You have at least a dozen Private Lakes Full of Florida Strain Largemouth and thousands of acres to ride around on in the SxS as in 10'000 acres!!!
I fail to see the pain in the Ass part...
You can even hunt White Tail if you want to pay a little more.
And when you're out there you're not likely to see another soul.
To be honest it Kicks Ass!!!
We leave our camper up there so we have A/C to sleep in.
And we have our own Shooting range right there in Camp.
Yeah...I can think of a lot of ways to describe the place but Pain in the Ass sure as Hell Ain't one of them.
We leave a Jon Boat up there so all ya gotta do is jump in the Jon Boat and go fishing.
If ya wanna hit some of the other lakes you use the SxS to haul it to one of the other Lakes.

    It's a RedNeck Paradise!!!!

Oh...I have a multitude of Lakes around my area if I want to take the Bass boat out.
Some of the Best Bass fishing in the Country!!
