Does toyota use super soft glass or something? My 2021 front windshield is covered with those tiny specks/chips everywhere . I feel like i could toss a grain of sand in the air and let it hit the windshield and it would chip it. Ive never owned or drove a vehicle that had anywhere near this issue with the windshield glass. I cant get a clear photo with my phone or id post it. If anyone has ever replaced their windshield was the aftermarket glass any better?

Funny, i used to hate salt all over the roads in winter due to corrosion. Went through Wyoming one winter, they use sand/gravel. My windshield is still pitted. Yay salt.

My aftermarket glass is doing that now. The windshield has some “sparkly” bits when headlights hit it from head-on, sometimes streetlights too.
