Safety recall notice on 2022-25 Tundras

Was checking to determine who else just received this recall notice. What lights are they specifically referring to?

QC just isn't what it used to be like anymore !

 

It came out a couple of months ago. Theres a thread on here somewhere. It's for the reverse lights.

 

It’s for your reverse lights. They may become inoperable.

 

Is there a certain set of VIN's or something else to delineate which tundra's are at greatest risk? Guess this is better than a complete engine recall.

Well, that makes sense. Guess I'll be waiting for the 4th qtr b4 i hear my name.

 

Received my Letter from Toyota this week on this recall.

 

I’m on the list too. Don’t think you have to worry prior to the remedy coming out. Not that they’re the greatest reverse lights to begin with

It was not my wife, but her husband. I should have used a Blk pen, my mistake.

Most people spell her name differently so your correct spelling blew me away, until i read all. I'm thinking most of the folks on here are good folks w no axe to grind. I removed attachment / thx

 

I got the recall notice.
I will tell them to do it when they do my new engine and twin turbos and final fix on my gas line.

Have feeling this recall is over reaction to a few cases of moisture. Two winters of 50+ inches of rain and no moisture in mine. Maybe someone really deep launched their boat! (there’s a YT vid showing a Tundra floating away at the ramp)

 

It's too bad we don't have the reverse lights that trigger by unlocking the vehicle. When I unlock the doors, I'd really like everyone to think I'm backing up so they have to slam on their brakes. GM really hit it out of the park there.

 

I hated that about my Zr2.
