New to the Tundra family, I just bought a 05 Tundra double cab xsp 4.7 v8 4x2. I wrecked my old Chevy and wanted to go with a Toyota due to its reliability. I saved up 5000$ and started to look for a truck. I think I got a steal on this one for sure though tell me if not. The truck looks great to be its age no dents or dings and interior looks amazing. The truck has 228000 miles on it and it has the front fender and bumper replaced due to Lowe ball joint giving on driver side. The guy wanted $6000 for the truck I ended up getting the price to $3900 that’s what I paid for it. Did I get a steal?

Time will tell. I picked up a 2005 Sequoia Limited 4x4 for $5k last year. When was the timing belt serviced? Hopefully they replaced both LBJ after the failure... when was the failure? Did they use OEM ball joints?

    Welcome!

Depends on the maintenance records but it sounds like a good deal. are the LBJs oem? If not, I would correct that asap.
