Best Source for Step?

Good evening, I am on a motorcycle trip, but my friend that just bought a new Tundra texted me and asked where's the best place to buy the Toyota retractable step to get in the bed? Or, something of good quality that accomplishes the same thing. Thanks very much.

 

"Best" is always subjective.
As long as we're talking about a MANUAL bed step and not power:
(I can't offer any advice on a POWER bed step.)

Your friend has two options essentially:
1) O.E and relatively expensive. I would assume sourced from the usual dealer suspects; local, or internet, Fred Haas, Sparks or the like.
2) Knockoff and relatively cheap. Typically sourced from Scamazon.

Myself and many others have been perfectly happy with the $80-$90 Scamazon specials.
