    Hi.

I have a beaver that started frequenting my poetry. He climbs under my shed onto my territory and walks around eating stuff in grass. Photo in June.(sorry can't upload, slow internet)

How safe are they around kids and other animals? I called animal control and they say i can either hire private guy to kill or to relocate or get a permit and zero him myself. Not sure i want to kill the guy. Anyways..

Last evening, I found him on my fig tree. Is that normal? Does he try to show he wants to be friends with humans? Sweet tooth maybe? I saw him eat figs before. Need assistance. Thanks gang.

Nevermind, I just looked it up and AI says it's not a good idea.

That's because the beaver usually domesticates the man in the household.

Men often become domesticated by women. Something AI wouldn't pick up on.

Beaver teeth never stop growing - ever. He chews to stay alive. They are cute monsters but will seriously fuck up a dog
if attacked. They are flight rather than fight animal, but a corner is still a corner if you get my meaning.
Unless he has a den and a waterway he can live in he should probably move on. I'd start with harassing him, make him
unwelcome. Hit him with hose water and chase him away with a garden tool.
Not a pet, never domesticated. They will travel over land for hundreds of miles in search of den area/swamp and water.
    Don't encourage him.
    Where are you??

Thank you, gang. If he comes today, I'll yell at him and flush him with a hose. My dog is kinda afraid of him. They both run opposite directions when spotted in the yard.

PS keep your kids away from it. Seriously. If he bites your kid it will be like being stabbed and cut with 2 1" woodchisels.
Your kid could bleed to death.
