New Member from NC

Not new to owning a Tundra but new to the forum. Had been lurking for years and finally created an account when I decided to reach out to iHacker about his LED head light conversion harness (10/10 recommend!). Happy to have found this awesome resource of knowledge

Welcome from SE NC. This place will certainly assist you in lightening your bank account! Is that a thin red line tag on the front?

 

SE NC here as well, south of Goldsboro. It is a thin red line tag. This Truck was my step-dad's who died tragically last year. He was a retired Captain from one of the major cities in NC. I bought his Tundra from my mom and started to fulfill his dream list of upgrades one by one. I can't bring myself to take off his "First in, last out" tag as I still look at it as his truck. My kids and my mother still light up, every time they see it. Though I was in the Navy, I certainly was not a fire fighter. So I struggle with the appearance of stolen valor, however for what it means to my family, it stays; and often times provokes some good conversations.

So sorry for your loss. It is an honorable thing, leaving that tag on "his" truck in his memory and for your family.
