    Hi Folks,
I am in talks with a supplier in China for a Australian style canopy, they have never made one for a tundra, therefore dont have the measurements for the mounting points.

Anybody by the remotest chance have these? I know this will be like hens teeth, but you never know.

below is what I plan to have, with some modifications for one tire, and then where the factory tire is I will put a custom shape water tank, to keep the water weight low.

You realize the tundra has a very low payload capacity? Just by the looks of it, that will be way too heavy for these trucks. That is more suited for no less than a 3/4 ton truck.

The weight empty is 330lbs all aluminium construction

I have a 770lbs constant load lift kit from iromman in mine, as I have a topper with rtt, awning, dual battery system and water tank.

The company has a slide off version, which triples the weight, which i am not opting for, the tundra is a pure camping rig, and also a way to show my business which is overlanding products

    Too many, but not enough....
330 lbs is pretty hard to believe.

so a well known manufacturer from australia quotes similar weight on their full time canopy, the weight increases when you option a tray plus lift off canopy.

Maybe if this is for a hilux or other small truck. Not a lot of American half ton trucks in Australia. For instance. Here is an American company that has an all aluminum 5.5’ bed with canopy for a 1/2 ton truck coming in at 1,029 lbs.

Even for smaller trucks, it’s coming in close to 900 lbs. I have a hard time believing anything with that gauge of aluminum stout enough not to just fall apart is only weighing 330 lbs. maybe just the bed portion. But certainly not once you start adding the actual canopy.

Yes canopy weight is 392lbs, total includes the tray. I don't want the tray, just direct bolt on canopy. Trays are typically steel hence increase in weight. Mits Alloy is Australian company
