Just got back from the county fair. They have the thing where they let special needs kids ride the rides for a few hours without loud music. My daughter finally went on a few of the rides! She has chickened out every year until now.

The 4H exhibit area was really small, about a 1/4 of what it used to be. All the kids are at home on Tok Tik, or doing the “door kick challenge”.

Now that you post this reminder, I remember seeing it BUT it was not as meaningful then as it is now. And your situation seems a lot worse than mine. I have threads and get to pull out my own stent in a week. But peeing blood is really tough. After a couple of days the pain has subsided. They gave me some Sackler specials but I am staying away from them. Get well my friend and I hope never again!

Honestly, I'm not even a fan of chocolate. But she nailed her recipe at 9000' altitude. It was super moist and so rich.

 

She's 16. Baking/culinary is her passion and likely her future. She's been doing it since she was 11.

 

For me I only crave pumpkin once a year. On thanksgiving. And in pie. Only substitution would be a pumpkin pie cheese cake with Carmel drizzle. But still only once a year.

 

Yeah, chocolate desserts are usually too rich for me but I'd give that a try
