:turtleride: Some things go over my head sometimes. It can take days for me to get what a photo means. But everyone is still nice about it. Probably because it’s funny.

    Yep, typical. :D
Some people hate Terra, I kinda dig it.
There's a black TRD Pro Sequoia in the parking lot at work. Looks pretty sweet.

    You just wait
Certain colors need to be seen in person before a judgment can be made. There are a few Toyota colors over the years that I didn't really care for how it looked in the press release pictures but once I saw it in person I didn't mind it

    Very true, can't go wrong.
Except for keeping it looking nice for more than a minute or two.

I've seen that black PRO Sequoia for quite a while now.
It's never filthy, but it's never REALLY clean, either.

And most people don’t know how to wash a black vehicle and the micro scratches become very noticeable. At least to those of us with that ‘tism

There’s that guy on the forum that had a build thread with a lowered truck, and he recently purchased a new pro truck. Both of those made me appreciate black.

I can’t find the thread easily, but I like both of those trucks. His new one made me regret my truck choice. YOLO vs. priorities.

I don’t understand why news reporting everywhere, and the internet in general has to be so mean and petty, and why every tit-for-tat story has to be reported on. I understand it I guess, but I don’t like it.

Why everything has to be an amped up us vs. them epic battle.

I’m thinking about subscribing to the Economist or the Financial Times, and not looking at anything else again. All I really want to know at this point is if/when to pivot on investments, and when to hide in the basement.

Starts at $88k CAD for an SR5.

I could get a gas one ton for about $10k less right now.

"I don't mind it" is definitely the sentiment you want for a vehicle colour - or at least most people who keep their vehicles for a reasonable amount of time, anyway.

    Multiple reasons and theories.

I think the people being easier to manage/manipulate when divided is what it used to be.

Now? I think it's beyond that. Those divisive manipulations worked too well. The divide is vast.

One side thinks the other is a bunch of generally good people with some bad ideas.

The other sees the opposition as evil and justifies all behavior against them. Because if you're fighting evil all means are justified, right?

One side wants to have intellectually honest conversations to find common ground and use logic. The other doesn't believe in the truth. They think it's subjective and want all "truths" to be allowed.

    How do you reconcile that?

When the Reliant Robin is just too light, too low of a cG, and too difficult to roll, ^^this^^ is the vehicle you need.

I was worried about getting brown for this reason. Didn't know how I'd feel about it 5 or 8 or 10 years down the road, and knew I'd be keeping the truck for at least 83 years. At 5, I'm still fully liking it.
