Just to maybe help some TN residents who might venture into a Wyatt Johnson for dealer service.

I bought my Tundra from them two months ago.

Here are some horrible things I’ve found from the service they performed.

According to them, they changed the front and rear differential fluids 40k miles ago. The front differential drain plug was on so tight I couldn’t budge it with an impact or breaker bar. I had to angle an air chisel, dig into the rim of the plug and spin it out that way. Of course, I replaced with a Lexus plug and torqued to spec. I felt lucky to remove it without incident.

They replaced the rear brakes two days before I bought it.

Lug nuts horribly swollen and so over torqued it a lot of effort with a breaker bar to get them turning, I mean a lot of effort. More importantly, the truck wouldn’t stop!

Parking brake doesn’t even slow the truck down when in neutral on a hill. Not even a little bit.

I flushed all the brake lines, got a small amount of air from the rear brakes they serviced, and decent amount from the front. I haven’t found a leak and 4k miles later they’re still functioning properly.

It was dangerous the condition they left the brakes in. I noticed it immediately on the test drive and just didn’t worry about knowing I could fix it & needed to do the paperwork and drive 4 hours back home.

They claimed to have serviced the truck & inspected the truck, the cabin air filter looked original to the truck, 2017, it was the worst I’ve ever seen in person.

Rear shock had a small hole in the shock body, again didn’t care knowing I would replace them anyway.

There are other things, oil drain plug horribly over torqued by them as well.

Point is, I wouldn’t trust them to service my car under any circumstances.
