Was at the dealership Friday, august 1, to get my brakes done and just found these scratches on my passenger side rears. I haven’t gone anywhere or parked next to any other vehicles for this to happen.

Have you contacted the dealer yet? Unfortunately, I think you’re in for a fight

That completely SUCKS! And I know it doesn't help ease the anger, but it looks like most of it will rub out pretty easily. Good luck

Damn, that sucks. I've made a point whenever I go to a dealership or other mechanic, I make a video with audio commentary (date, time, location, planned maintenance) of the interior and exterior condition of my vehicles so I can fight any damages they do. With the world of mobile devices today, it's quick and simple.

Yea I’m kicking myself now for not doing it. The cost of getting free brakes and no more squeaking

I don't think it can hurt to at least try. If they are an upstanding dealer, they should own up to it. The sooner you contact them the better

Scratches are a fact of life if you are a dealer with acres of cars. Every dealer has a legit scratch guy on speed dial.

This is EXACTLY what I had just mentioned in another thread Pads and Rotors and bringing it to the Stealership, where they get to lay there meat hooks on your truck...
I Buddy of mine is a Master mechanic at the Stealership I bought my truck from and he told DO NOT bring your truck here for servicing,he said it's the Hack & Butch show over there, how sad is that?!
Sorry Dude I really hope you get it fixed.

Buffing compound will go long way. I wouldn't bother with contacting them. They probably all have talked about it. Look before you get back in vehicle.

They did mine a busted up my passenger side mirror. Which they told me about and was replaced the very next day. They even swapped out my aftermarket blinker.

It actually punctured the the body panel!!!
At first they claimed they didnt do it but I threatened them with legal action so they ended up fixing it.
    Man was I Pissed!!!!
I have no idea how it happened and whoever did it sure wasn't talking!!!

They’re closed today. They don’t wash vehicles after maintenance anymore here. I’ll try to wash and buffer when I get the chance

That's a tough one to prove....maybe if you had spotted it before you left the lot...

I agree with the other posts, clean it, rubbing compound, then some wax. Most of it should clean up.
