I just did the install and it’s pretty easy and sounds amazing. I already had the Beat Sonic amp for the speakers, all I was missing was the bass. 100% satisfied!IMG_3574.jpg IMG_3568.jpg IMG_3523.jpg

Where did you get the bass knob? Just ordered this kit. Can’t beat the intro price.

It’s an accessory to the Kicker mono amp I’m using in the set up. I think it was $30 on Amazon. Just took it apart and mounted it to a blank.

I see, then just drilled the blank. Looks great! I think I’ll have one blank spot on my platinum. Can’t wait until truck gets built!

If you’re using a line out converter, that will come with a knob. I used the knob for my amp because the circuit board was narrower.

I plan to use the pre-out from the beat-sonic amplifier in the dash. Should be a decent budget setup, nothing crazy.

Did you get the JBL/Hybrid version? I installed model ENA-2T3 and it only has RCA inputs.

I did get the hybrid JBL version. I'll be using the pre-out from the beat-sonic amp to the RCA input on the taco tunes amplifier.

Oh nice mine don’t look like that. I bought ENA-2T3 and only had an input for RCAs. I would’ve def just done that. Let us know how it works out. The beat sonic wont filter out the higher frequencies though right?

No, it shouldn't filter anything out on the sub pre-outs. I went with the ENA-3T3 for the extra 5watts and the subwoofer pre-out so I don't have to use the amplifier harness. Still waiting for my truck allocation, but I have all the accessories!

I just looked it up and that’s awesome! I wish I would’ve looked around more. I bought the other model. Still works great but would’ve been nice to just hook up the RCAs to that instead of the LOC. Either way it does the job!

I purchased the dual 10” model for my ‘24 iforce max. Was somewhat annoyed and disappointed it didn’t come with any instructions at all. Just a bag full parts stuffed inside the box.

Your box looks just like mine, but I’m assuming not the hybrid version.

does the box secure to anything behind the seat or just sit in place? There are some Velcro pieces in my kit, is that supposed to be used to secure it to the back wall?

also no clue where the spacers go or if I need them since there’s no literature with the kit.

    thanks for any help!

I hit them up and they sent me a link to a YouTube video:
    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1MS6xDyO3ZU&pp=0gcJCdgAo7VqN5tD

My box is the hybrid version. It does not attach to anything behind it. It is molded to stay put. I drove around without my rear seats and it didn’t move at all.

The Velcro are for the pull tabs on the rear seats to release the top half from the bulkhead. You’ll see it in the video.

You'll need the spacers to allow room for the box and subwoofer. I tried fitting the box and seat without cutting brackets but it is necessary. Overall not a bad install.

With how detailed that install video is, it’s kinda crazy they didn’t share it with everyone that purchased the hybrid box.

I emailed them a week or so ago and still haven’t heard anything back.

Install was a 6/10 on difficulty. I’m kind of underwhelmed. It doesn’t blend well with the factory JBL and beat-sonic amp. Definitely considering taking it out and selling locally, putting the stock sub back in. It’s either underwhelming, overwhelming, or just not providing a full sound. I do have ANC and ENE still enabled, which definitely has something to do with it. I was a huge bass head in my early 20’s, just not my thing anymore :(

I felt the same way. That’s what pushed me to upgrade to 6x9s in the front, 6.5 in the rear and three 3.5” Infinity REF-307Fs. I must have went tried 3 different sets of each speaker size before settling with this set up.

The doors and dash now provide more punch to the bass and compliment the subwoofer with a fuller midrange.

TT is sending me another box that is braced even more (glued and screwed) so hopefully that improves my subwoofer sound. At the moment, I love the full sound but would want deeper bass that I know my set up has the potential to do. My current box will rattle on some deeper frequencies.

Have you tried the LOC route? If you do, I would turn off the ACCU Bass completely off on both settings. Make sure surround sound is off on the HU.

I have never had a unit play audio different with each app and phone. Went out and got a snocone with my little girl. Started to rain so we ate the snocone in the truck. Watched movie in Netflix. Man did I actually have bass. Never heard the JBL sound so nice and loud. Why can the audio sound like that with music !!!!

I purchased a dual 10” box, one of those roto molded style boxes back in February. I asked before and multiple times during the process if it would fit a non-hybrid and they said it would. Right before shipping almost two months after ordering, they said it likely wont fit. I agreed to test fit, and also got a box with a bag full of parts. I was also taken back at the quality, it just looked bad. Extra plastic was not trimmed off, on of the support post was half glued in the speaker opening making test fit of the sub difficult, and the box was scuffed up a lot. Long story short, I put the box right back in the shipping box and returned it. TT was easy to work with, I texted back and forth often and they were responsive. This is not a bash on TT but I did want to share my experience. Their harnesses worked perfectly.

I am on my third hybrid box with them. Getting it today. They have been responsive and have been helpful throughout the whole way. They are trying to make things right and I hope this braced version is the answer. It already sounds great on certain songs. So hopefully this new box fixes my issue with the deeper frequencies (rattling).

No, the kit did not come with the LC2i like with their other kits. I have the new integrated amp/subwoofer box. Pretty much plug and play other than modifying the rear seats and brackets. It takes either a sub pre-out or rear speaker hi inputs. I used the harnesses included with the kit, plugs directly into the provided amp. I've had the kit installed for a few rides now, I tend to keep it very low. If I ever get a carista, I'll try out disabling ANC and the engine noise. Everything else is disabled, such as auto leveling and surround sound.

The first run of boxes was delayed due to fitment issues and they worked day/night to install bracing once received, and it showed as such, not a clean job. Hopefully they sorted it out and have better bracing.

Going on day 3 with the new box. The port was moved from the bottom to the left side. I also see screws holding the braces now.

I’d say 90% of the rattle from the previous box is gone. Not perfect but still a marked improvement.

With the amp knob at 50%, I am satisfied with the bass it produces. IMO, upgrading the dash and door speakers is a must for a fuller/punchier sound.

I bought the Carista about 2 months ago and disabled that fake noise and some other things like the seat belt chime. It definitely gets in the way of the audio experience. I used it once and let my subscription lapse. I also have a spare PAC LOC that will convert the signal to low level RCAs. I can let them go for cheap.

Didn’t you mention you were going to try the RCA out on the Beat Sonic amp? How did that work out?

I did mention the RCA Pre-outs! Ended up using the harnesses that came with the kit. Since the beat-sonic amp plugs directly into the headunit and the headunit sends the radio signal to the amp, I don’t think the engine noise goes through the amp. I did not notice a change in engine noise loudness through the speakers when adding the amp. Theoretically, if I run RCA’s from the beat-sonic pre-amp, it would skip the engine noise addition that’s added at the amp. Likely the route I go, I don’t mind the added engine noise at all.
