This morning I replaced my starter because the truck wouldn’t crank at all but you could hear the fuel pressurizing in cylinders when I turned the key. As I was taking out the starter I forgot to unplug the battery and sparked the two connections on the starter for a split second. Once I got the new one installed I put the battery terminals back on and there is zero electricity in the truck at all. I checked all the small fuses in the engine bay and some of them in the cab. I’ve heard it might be the main fuse under the fuse box that’s blown? This is my daily truck so please any help appreciated need to get her back up running. Currently 208k on the clock she’s got plenty more life in her! Battery passed test at autozone and the starter is brand new or Toyota part.

Lesson learned, always disconnect the negative battery terminal when working on any car’s electrical components . Ideally, it’s a fuse and you didn’t short the ECU.

Attach a pic of the under hood fuse box, may not be one of the smaller atc style fuses. What year is your truck ?

Main fuse is probably blown... I did this with a Camry...
